"My experiences in the natural world have inspired me to share with others the wisdom that comes to one’s soul and the grandeur experienced no other place in the world than in the outdoors and in the wilderness. Whether on the trail or back at the lodge my years of personal and professional experience since the early 1970's in adventure recreation and working with youth and other groups will encourage play and leisure time together to build and improve relationships. I look forward to sharing stories, the comfort that comes with paddling sky blue waters, and wonderful company around campfires. I've been guiding in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness since 1990. I invite you to find or customize an adventure that is right for you this year!"

I earned my B.S. Degree at Colorado State University in Natural Resources Recreation and Tourism. My Master of Arts Degree from Prescott College, Prescott Arizona is in Adventure Education and Wilderness Leadership.
I am currently getting the Third Degree from....none other than my husband!
